Generic Structure dari Announcement

Announcement mempunyai struktur yang sangat sederhana yaitu title dan explanation.

1.                  Title : Judul. Bagian ini menunjukkan perwakilan dari keseluruhan dari Announcement, dengan ini pembaca / pendengar dapat mengetahui langsung secara singkat isi dari Announcement tersebut.

2.                  Explanation: Penjelasan. Bagian ini merupakan isi dari sebuah Announcement. Biasanya terdiri dari informasi yang mencakup jenis kegiatan, waktu, tempat, dan kepada siapa Announcement itu ditujukan.

Cancellation of JYJ Concert in Singapore

Dear Fans and Media

This is an official announcement to inform everyone that we have just been notified by CJes Entertainment, the artist of JYJ that they have decided to cancel JYJ World Tour Concert in Singapore which is scheduled on 23 April 2011 at Singapore Indoor Stadium.

It is with utmost regret that we have to accept this cancellation notice from the artist agency at this point in time. We have submitted the final plans for stage, seating and ticketing for the agency's approval so as to proceed with the official announcement ticket sale. These plans are in accordance with the regulations required by the authorities in Singapore and the budget allocated for the concert. It is most unfortunate that the plans are not approved by CJes and their decision is to cancel the concert. We respect the agency's decision and, with great regret, we are unable to change their mind but to accept this unforeseen circumtance that is beyond our control.

We understand the dissapointment as well as the inconvenience caused due to the cancellation and we sincerely apologize - especially to the fans of JYJ

Pengertian Present Continuous Tense
Present Continuous Tense merupakan tense bentuk yang menunjuk pada tindakan yang sedang berlangsung sekarang atau ketika pembicaraan itu sedang berlangsung.
Rumus Present Continuous Tense
Berikut rumus present continuous tense untuk membuat kalimat-kalimat

A. Positive:
subject + to be (am, is, are) + Verb – ing + object
Contoh : I am watching TV now

B. Negative :
subject + to be + not + verb – ing + object
Contoh : Mr. Khanafi is not going to Jakarta atau

C. Introgative :

Keterangan waktu (adverb of time)
Keterangan waktu yang sering digunakan dalam Present Continuous tense : now, right now, at the moment, just, still dan tomorrow (digunakan khusus untuk yang menunjuk suatu perencanaan). Contoh:

Pengertian Procedure Text
“Procedure text is a piece of text that give us instructions for doing something.”
Procedure text adalah sebuah teks yang memberikan kita perintah atau instruksi untuk melakukan sesuatu.

Ciri ciri prosedure text
1.Biasanya Mengunakan Simple Present Tense dengan rumus (S+V1)
2.Berbentuk imperative/bentuk perintah,
3.Menggunakan action verbs, contoh: make, take, boil, cook,
4.Menggunakan temporal conjunctions, contoh: First, then, next, after that, last
5.Menggunakan conjunctions (kata penghubung) untuk mengurutkan kegiatan, misalnya then, while, dsb.
adverbs (kata keterangan) untuk menyatakan rinci waktu, tempat, cara yang akurat, misalnya for five minutes, 2 hours, dsb.
 6.Menggunakan adverbs (kata keterangan) untuk menyatakan tahapan atau urutan, misalkan the first, the second, the third, the last, etc.

“The social purpose of procedure text is to show how something is done through sequence of steps which enable the reader to achieve the goal.”
Tujuan sosial procedure text adalah untuk menunjukkan bagaimana sesuatu dilakukan melalui urutan langkah yang memungkinkan pembaca untuk mencapai tujuan.

Jenis-jenis Procedure Text
Procedure text dalam bahasa inggris mempunyai beberapa jenis. Berikut ini ada 3 jenis procedure text yang harus Anda ketahui.
1. Procedure text yang menjelaskan bagaimana sesuatu bekerja atau bagaimana menggunakan instruksi/operasi manual , misalnya , how to use computer, how to record video.
2. Procedure text yang menginstruksikan bagaimana melakukan aktivitas tertentu, misalnya, how to make a noodle, how to dance, how to play basketball.
3. Procedure text yang berhubungan dengan perilaku manusia, misalnya, how to succeed, how to live happily, how to be a good person.

Generic Stucture of Procedure Text
Procedure text memiliki skema susunan umum atau generic structure. Berikut ini generic stucture of procedure text:
1.Goal : memberikan informasi tentang maksud dan tujuan prosedur dan memprediksi suatu kesimpulan.
2.Materials : berisi daftar materi atau bahan-bahan yang dibutuhkan untuk melakukan suatu prosedur atau langkah-langkah.
 3.Steps daftar urutan instruksi/aktivitas untuk mencapai tujuan dalam urutan langkah yang benar.
 4.Result Hasil dari serangkaian langkah-langkah yang telah dilakukan.

Contoh Procedure Text :
How to Make Ice Cream
Materials:
2 cups milk or cream
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
Several cups of Ice
1 cup salt
You need these supplies to make ice cream
Tub or large coffee can to hold salt and ice
Glass bowl or small coffee can
Electric mixer or whisk
Ice cream scoop
Storage container for freezer
Steps:
First, setting up the cooling apparatus. Stir ice and salt in the larger container.
Then, combine the ingredients. Mix together the milk, sugar, and vanilla in the glass bowl. Then, set this bowl in the tub filled with ice and rock salt, making sure that the salt water does not spill into the bowl.
Next, mix the ice cream. Mix the ingredients in the small container vigorously. The salty ice mixture will cool the mixture down until it turns into ice cream. It should take about 10 to 15 minutes to stir the ice cream using either method. Stir until it is free from ice crystals and is the right consistency.
Last, storage and serving. ice cream is ready.
